The implementation of this new lift will allow you and your family the comforts of sleeping in and still catching some of the first tracks down the impeccably groomed Buddy’s Run. The location of the community presents a great jumping off point, not only to the mountain but downtown Steamboat, only 2 miles away, affording you easy access to the entire town.

Despite the central location of Trailhead Lodge, you will often find that many necessities and comforts can be found right outside your doorstep.  Trailhead Lodge itself offers three distinct pools to help match your desired use. The Children’s Pool offers separate arena for children to enjoy their afternoons and provides for an atmosphere the whole family can enjoy.  The Adult Pool offers successive layout of flowing springs, providing many private pools, modeled off Steamboats very popular Strawberry Hot Springs. A final lap pool provides another way to expand your athletic horizons after days spent biking and skiing. Additionally, the Steamboat Country Store within the Wildhorse Community, allows you to pick up those last minute dinner needs or a warm cup of Steamboat Coffee Roasters to start your day.
