An article published yesterday in the USA Today commented not only on Steamboat’s newly renovated base area, but also describes it as a great location for owning a second home. The article mentions many of the benefits of living in Steamboat from the gorgeous Old Town to the fluffy Champagne Powder Steamboat is known for. One of the main differences attributed to Steamboat from other ski towns is the pricing on condos and townhomes. “You can still buy a ski-in/ski-out one-bedroom condo in the $200,000s…and there will be a $4 million house a stone’s throw away.” The article featured both One Steamboat Place, for its luxurious accommodations and location to the gondola, and Catamount Ranch and Club, for being the most established Ranch and community in Steamboat.
